Ghost rider motorcycle redesign9/25/2023 ![]() ![]() I hate this shit because for every rider like him who doesn't hit anyone and seriously injure or kill them while riding like a jackass you get 10 copycats eith 1/4 the skill that slam into the back of someone innocent causing them to be injured or killed. A hand grenade doesn’t cause that much damage when compared to a nuclear missile. The mass and inertia is more likely to cause the other car to flip, spin out, etc.Īlso ummm I said “ that much damage.” which is really an arbitrary value. If a 5,000lb car, however, hits another 5,000lb car, the damage would much more likely be catastrophic. It’s possible the bike could glance off the car if it hit at the right angle, given the speed and potential angle of the bike. And if the motorcycle hits the other vehicle, it’s POSSIBLE the other car could be damaged, but the driver/passengers survive. The rider will almost certainly be killed.įirst off, consider if this is likely on the highway and/or roads where the other vehicles are likely traveling in the same direction as the motorcycle at speeds of 60mph or greater. You can’t say “umm everybody dies” when there are plenty of scenarios where the driver survives. Umm if the car is going 0mph sure and is t-boned by the motorcycle. You wouldn’t exactly be T-boning anybody. Vehicles are going in the same direction. I assume being hit by a motorcycle at 100mph isn’t as bad as being hit by a car.Īlso, in most (all?) of Ghost Rider’s videos, he’s on major roads highways. Now if you want to suggest that the narrow shape of a motorcycle makes it more lethal than a full sized car, because it can slice through another vehicle or something, that’d be news to me. I didn’t say motorcycles can’t cause injury or death or they’re super safe. However, in this case, I didn’t use another value in the statement to make a comparison. Compared to a nuclear warhead, a hand grenade won’t do that much damage. Compared to being hit by a speeding dump truck filled with explosives, getting hit by a motorcycle wouldn’t do that much damage. “Can potentially cause serious harm.” I also immediately followed the “that much damage” statement with a comment that you could still cause another care to crash.Īlso “ that much” is an arbitrary value. ![]() The full Avengers #58 releases on July 20th.Which is what I said. However, the heroes of the past like this new Ghost Rider may provide the exact kind of support the Avengers are looking for to even the odds. Mephisto has already promised a bloodbath, extremely confident that he and his Council will emerge victorious. Armed only with his blade and a desire for justice, the Samurai of Vengeance would be a perfect addition to the Avengers' ranks should they convince him to join their fight against Mephisto.Īt any rate, the battle lines are being drawn now that the Avengers' epic multiversal war is right around the corner. While there have been other past Ghost Riders that have debuted such as the very first Ghost Rider who rode a mammoth and one who had a giant shark, the Ghost Ronin is by far the most epic (and he doesn't even have something to ride). And alongside the Avengers, he will make his final stand against the lightning swords of the devil himself. He is the fabled Ghost Ronin, the Samurai of Vengeance. And where he wanders, the penance flows, like fountains of blood. They say he walks by night, wielding a blade forged by hellfire. Here are the preview pages and synopsis for the upcoming issue:ĪVENGERS #58- THE AVENGERS’ QUEST THROUGH TIME CONTINUES! Japan, the Edo Period. Giving Cap and Nighthawk katanas of their own to fight assassins the Avengers didn't even know were following them, it looks as though the Samurai of Vengeance is helping the Avengers instead of the other way around. Now, the new preview for Avengers #58 sees Captain America and Nighthawk encountering the Edo Period's Ghost Ronin, an ancient Spirit of Vengeance wreathed in blue flame who looks absolutely intense. In previous issues of Avengers from Jason Aaron and Javier Garrón, Mephisto is preparing to claim Earth-616 as his own alongside the Council of Red, a legion of Mephisto variants from across the multiverse. ![]()
